Jarrod graduated from Federation University at the end of 2017 with a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Exercise Physiology after returning to study after working in the industry for 6 years prior to completing this degree. He has been playing basketball in Ballarat for 20+ years and after many injuries his passion to improve not only his own health but that of others was nurtured; hence this being one of the reasons why he wanted to become an Exercise Physiologist.

Jarrod is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life and regain their ability to do the things they enjoy doing while managing their ailments or improving those that can be remedied! He believes there is no greater pleasure than assisting someone to reach their full potential and have you assist them in their journey to do so!

Jarrod believes that there are no two people the same so he doesn’t believe they should be treated the same as if they were. With my almost 5 years experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist he has had the pleasure of working with many different people with many different injuries, conditions or concerns. Over this time he has completed many professional development courses targeting a range of Cardiopulmonary, Musculoskeletal & Neurological conditions and best practice approaches to patient centered care. Jarrod actively practices the biopsychosocial model of healthcare where appropriate as he believes the person in front of him should be treated as an individual and holistically rather than labeled their injury/condition and treated as such.

Jarrod’s modalities typically include the use of gym based exercise, hydrotherapy and Home Exercise Programs.
